Gluten-Free Vegan Eats & Allyson Kramer

It's been a busy and exhausting week in the kitchen and in front of the computer. I'd say I am at the end of my second trimester with my forthcoming book. I didn't realize how much work and how many minute details went into writing, photographing, designing, publishing, and marketing a cookbook {any publishers out there want to take over at this point?!}.
So I'm just glad it's Friday.
One of the more pleasurable and relaxing highlights of the week was hanging out with Allyson Kramer on Google+. Allyson blogs at www.manifestvegan.com and has authored two gluten-free vegan cookbooks—and rumor has it a third is in the works!
In the Hangout we talked about her books ...
About her glamorous new toxin-free hair color ... isn't it pretty!

And exchanged tips on baking allergen-free.
This lady is one of the brightest, most talented I've met in my blogging circles. I hope you will check out her books and get acquainted with her over at Manifest Vegan.
Here we are hanging out ...
And here are links to those books:
Oh and the recipe for those tasty croquettes (at top) is found in Allyson's first book, Great Gluten-Free Vegan Eats (the green cover). Hidden in there are kalamata olives, roasted red pepper and a good dose of parsley. I think you could flavor these any way you wanted to. I told Allyson that I think my kids would go crazy if I did them up pizza flavored ... I'm thinking pepperoni, sun dried tomatoes, black olives. Oh my!

Love her toxic free hair colour. Will have to look into if I can buy something like that here is Australia. Oh and I've been making your dairy free almond milk yoghurt and can I say I am SO hooked. I hope that you have a relaxing weekend Away from cook book writing. I bet it will be all worth it in the long run.
Melissa ... Thanks so much for dropping by to share about the yogurt. I am so glad you love it. xoLexie
