Sweet Onion Dip & Mock Ricotta Cheese

The vegans nailed it right when they came up with this one.

Beware! What you are about to make is sinfully rich and addicting! My sister whipped up this dip for Thanksgiving and I have been obsessed with it since. It is built on this recipe that she found over at Food.com. However, in place of raw onion, she folded in caramelized onion—the perfect complement to the mildly sweet macadamia.

Upside-Down Sticky Toffee Pudding Recipe

When mom and I get on the phone, inevitably the conversation turns to what Dr. Oz talked about on his latest show or what Martha has been whipping up in the kitchen. I don't have a television, so thankfully she keeps me in the loop! The other week she gave me the mouth-watering play-by-play of Martha and Nora Singley making this Upside-Down Sticky Toffee Pudding. I had never had sticky pudding—much less heard of it. My interest was peaked. I had to investigate.

Maple Macaroons | Gluten-Free, Egg-Free 

Today over at the Williams-Sonoma blog, The Blender, you'll find one of my latest recipes. These gluten-free Maple Macaroons are a safe number for family, friends and co-workers who avoid some or all of the top eight food allergens (if you don't consider coconut a tree nut). In place of eggs, these are bound with maple syrup and coconut butter and are naturally gluten-free and dairy-free.

Gluten-Free, Egg-Free Sugar & Spritz Cookies

Okay all you health food nuts (of which I am one), this recipe may not be up your alley. For the rest of you (or the nuts like me who indulge on occasion), you can't go wrong with this here sugar cookie. Shoot the dough out of a cookie press or roll it into a log, freeze, slice and bake—either way, this recipe makes a very versatile dough.
