Lifefactory™ Bottles | Fashionable Hydration

These Lifefactory™ Glass Beverage Bottles are ultra-chic and ultra-durable. Hydrate in style!

:: This is not a paid review. I do not do paid reviews. If I review a product, it's because I love it, period ::

Last weekend some friends and I ventured into Pharamaca Integrative Pharmacy in Boulder, Colorado. I was a kid in a candy shop! I splurged and picked up some all-natural sunscreen, a couple of soy candles and one of these Lifefactory™ Glass Beverage Bottles (the cute Pearl White one at right).

I fail miserably at drinking the recommended six 8-ounce glasses of water a day. I've just never found the right thinga-ma-jig to tote water around in. I'm not keen on those stainless steel deals—how on earth do you ensure that you really get them clean? Plastic bottles—too much waste and possibly a good dose of BPA. And those Nalgene bottles? Well, way too cumbersome to drink out of lady-like style. Thankfully to Lifefactory, I think I have found the answer.

How do you jazz up water to make it more fun to sip on?
Especially for kids? I need some ideas : )

Lifefactory fuses modern sensibility, eco-friendly composition and exceptional utility to produce their glass beverage bottles. They are free of known harmful chemicals including BPA, phthalates and PVC.

And they don't stop there. Check out their line of baby & kid products: bottles, sippy cups and teethers using the same materials.

I bought the 16-ounce beverage bottle and am really happy with it. It's the perfect on-the-go size. Its shape and the handle on the cap make it easy to hold, it fits in most car cup holders and the wide mouth makes adding ice cubes, fruit or tea bags easy.

This product has my two thumbs up! Purchase direct from Lifefactory or find a store near you that carries their products.

Now the big question? What fashion color will you buy?

Kiddie Sippy Cups! No nasty BPAs. Just a glass jar in a durable silicon "wrap."We're past the baby bottle stage with our kids ... but if we were still in it, I would snap some of these up in a heartbeat!

Gosh, I wish I'd seen those. I've read about them, but never actually seen them. LOVE the concept. I'd go for the royal blue one for sure. :-)

Miss you! xo,
Shirley

Totally cool, Lexie! I've been wanting a glass bottle but have worried about it breaking. These are perfect. There are actually a few stores in my area on the list of those that sell Lifefactory products so I'm going to have to check them out.

I have one of these bottle too and I love it! To jazz up my water (my three year old likes this too) I'll make herbal iced tea- but really water it down so that it's just a hint of flavor. I also like the usual lemon, lime, orange, or cucumber slices...

I just wonder how heavy are they when full.

I add some dried fruit to water to make it more fun. Dried rhubarb tastes great.

How are they with kids? Are these things going to break on the first fall? I think they are really neat though :>)

Never knew they made these for babies! I love my full-size one (in the lime green), but will have to pick a couple up for my sister who's expecting her first baby. The color choice is definitely going to take some thinking! :)

We just never gave Max anything but water to drink. And milk. And green smoothies. Juice is a very rare treat. So, he loves water. I like the watered down herbal tea idea. I've heard cucumber is great, but I haven't tried it.

I saw those bottles but couldn't shove one more thing in my bag. Didn't see the baby bottles until after Max was done. Wish they had ones with straws. I always spill all over if I have to open and close a lid. Not pretty. At least it's water, but I feel like I am in a wet t-shirt contest.

So excited to see that you love the bottles. My husband works for the company - we have every color in our house. :) My kids use them every day too.

Dear all ... THANK YOU for all the great ideas! Adding dried fruit was a new one to me and sounds fantastic!

Tracy, I'm sure you could break these with a good whack to a concrete surface, but gentle drops probably wouldn't. That said, they are glass so there is a chance ... but I think it is slim.

Michelle, weight-wise, well I'd say like a glass jar filled with water. : ) I throw mine in my diaper bag and it doesn't weight me down.

Lexie, I have one in the same color as you and I love it, too. My only problem has been not getting the top on correctly. When I got out of the car, I picked up my bottle by the top and the bottom fell on the concrete driveway and rolled down. My heart sank because I thought it would be broken, but no it survived the crash to the concrete! I was really impressed!

Debbie, I do encounter the top issue, too. So now I just am extra sure to get the top threads screwed on right : ) They are pretty durable. I just bought two for my boys ... that'll be the true test, ha!
